Stuart Draper
Writer/Director

As a director work includes A Midsummer Night's Dream, Greenwich Playhouse, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Greenwich Playhouse "this really was a director's production and the twist he gave to the final scene was creativity of the highest order." Other directing credits include The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet and numerous comedy revues on the London and Edinburgh Fringe.

As an actor theatre work includes: Will Shakespeare in To WH, (Melmoth/The Hobgoblin); Siegried Sassoon in Not About Heroes (Melmoth/Hobgoblin) Argan, The Imaginary Invalid, (Lion & Unicorn/Act Provocateur); Quince in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Greenwich Playhouse/Melmoth); George in Hortz Bucholz and Other Stories (Union Theatre); Spike in Karaoke Nights (Union Theatre); Omipalone in Two Gentlemen of Verona (Melmoth/Greenwich Playhouse) plus numerous appearances in revue at the Canal Cafe, The Gate, Red Rose, The Latchmere, and the Edinburgh Fringe. Other roles include Sparkish, The Country Wife, Lady Bracknell, The Importance of Being Earnest, and The Padre in Hamp. TV/Film includes: Work (Jim Hoskins/Partizan) and Punch People (Kirsty Hockenhull). Stuart is currently looking confused on a park bench in a Computeach advert on Channel 4 and Satellite. As an actor Stuart is represented by Neale McGrath at NS Artistes Management.

Maria Bates
Director

As an actor Maria has recently appeared as Mrs Miggins in To W.H. (Melmoth / Hobgoblin), Doctor S in Between Worlds (Union Theatre / Mark Bullock), Olivia and Queen of Hearts in What You Will In Wonderland (Ne Obliviscaris Productions/Liam Campbell) the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet (South London Theatre/Stuart Draper), Maria in Twelfth Night (Dulwich Picture Gallery/ Tricia Thorns) Scholar, Gluttony and other roles in Dr Faustus (Freakshow / Adrian Lockhouse) Lady Macbeth in Macbeth (SELCAT / Adrian Lockhouse).

TV work includes: Shopping Channel (Live) Guest Fashion Presenter Ideal World, Various TV /Adverts as Stand-in/ double for Dawn French (Tiger Aspect/Peter Richardson)

Most recently directed shows: Stay With Me (Greenwich Playhouse/ Melmoth); Tom Jones for South London Theatre, Amadeus for Dulwich Players and various Youth Theatre productions.

Maria trained at the City Literary Insititute.

 

Ronae Jolliffe
Producer

Ronae studied at Rhodes University South Africa where she became actively involved in theatre. In 1989, she workshopped and acted in a production called From Here to Timbuktu which won best of the Grahamstown Festival - South Africa's equivalent to the Edinburgh Festival. Whilst at University she also toured shows at underprivileged schools - performing in open fields and derelict buildings to hundreds of children and teachers.

Ronae joined South London Theatre in 2002 and acted in Dead Guilty, Rebecca, Come into the Garden Maude, Baby with Bathwater, Boston Marriage, and Hysteria.

She is training director at SLT and also works as a freelance producer making TV, cinema and radio commercials.
